OVERVIEW
The programme is aimed at job seekers who wish to enter the retail industry. This can include individuals who are intending to join retail as their first job or intending to switch industries into retail.
The Courses selected are aimed at equipping these job switchers / seekers with the knowledge and skills with regards to important retail business functions such as livestreaming, omni commerce retailing, customer service/management and also digital marketing. The course is aimed at covering breadth to make sure that when the trainee is sourcing for retail specific jobs, the trainee is cognisant and aware of the type of strategies and metrics deployed within the company. For companies who have yet to adopt certain strategies, the job seeker is actually exposed enough to the future ready skills to add value to these strategies.
Career Opportunities
Job roles will include E-commerce Manager, E-commerce executive, Customer service executive, Sales Executive. Many of these roles are intertwined in a small company. We understand well enough that inSMEs the job roles especially in Retail do come in the form of wearing multiple hats. This course aims tomake job switchers and new job seekers with the breadth of skills required of the future retail which places emphasis on e-commerce.

Entry Requirements
- Aged 16 years and above AND
- Possess at least GCE ‘N’ Level with minimum grade C6 for 3 subjects, including English and Mathematics
- ALL Students are required to have basic computing skills–i.e., able to turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engines for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft OfficE
Certificate Issuance
Upon successful completion of each module within the course, you will be awarded the Workforce SkillsQualification (WSQ) Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore. After successfulcompletion of all modules within the course, you will be awardeda(SCTP) Advanced Certificate in DigitalRetail

Additional Course Fee Funding Support (AFS) Criteria and/or Requirements
Trainee is 21 years old and above, a Singaporean Citzen, and
- Has been in long-term unemployment of 6 months or more*; or
- Recipient of ComCare Short-to-Medium Term Assistance (STMA)* or Workfare Income Supplement (WIS)*; or
- Person with Disabilities
Will be eligible for 95% SkillsFuture Funding.
Course fees after subsidy can be further offset by SkillsFuture Credit for Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above. Singapore Citizens aged 21 to 31 may also offset fees with the Post Secondary Education Account Funds.
