COURSE OVERVIEW:
Managing and harnessing the talent and industry of employees have become the cornerstone to achieving an organisation’s business goals. This starts with understanding the rights and obligations of the organisation as well as the employees under Singapore’s legal framework. Whether it be dealing with individual contracts or as a group through the representation of trade unions, it is pivotal that managers, front line supervisors and HR professionals have a working knowledge of employment laws and guidelines governing the employer-employee relationship.
This 2-day course will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding and application of key features of Singapore’s labour legislation enabling them to deal effectively with issues including coverage of the Employment Act, contributions to the Central Provident Fund, employment of foreign manpower, post retirement re-employment.
