COURSE OVERVIEW
In a communication process, we encourage open communication by informing and sharing information with one another. Effective communication promotes trust and engagement, encourages productivity and reduces stress and anxiety for all. Relationships are strengthened and the workplace becomes a hive for harmonious working.
Hence it is important to equip our staff with the skills and abilities to communicate successfully to higher performance. This 16-hours Level 1 course will provide learners with the necessary competencies to be effective communicator.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The audience is all operational and frontline staff working in any industry across all sectors.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Use effective communication techniques to interpret, clarify, analyse and respond to information received,
- Recognise workplace conflict and
- Use effective negotiation skills to resolve conflicts for a win-win outcome, taking into consideration social and cultural differences

COURSE FEE
COURSE FEE AFTER FUNDING CAN BE CLAIMED THROUGH:
- SkillsFuture Credit: Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their credits to pay for course fees.
- Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their Skills Future Credit Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES), Special funding $500 to offset course fees payable after funding.
- UTAP: NTUC members enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $500 per year
- Training Commitment Award-$200/year after completing 4 WSQ modules (4 SOAs)
- PSEA (Post-Secondary Education Account): Singaporeans aged 17 to 30 may use their account’s funds for fee payment. (Please Call PSEA Hotline 62600777 to check your balance
- SkillsFuture Enterprise Credits (SFEC): Eligible employers will receive a one-off S$10,000 credit to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expenses on qualifying costs for supportable initiatives.
ABSENTEE PAYROLL:
Company-sponsored (NON-SME/SME) eligible to apply absentee payroll capped at $4.5 -$7.5/hr
